Yesterday
We went up to Crane Mountain yesterday, and I was able to get some nice pictures. It’s so pretty up there this time of year.
Beautiful Beautiful
That says it all. Just look at those breath-taking peaks! Its really something, to get snow like this in September. My bedroom window is very advantageously placed on the east side of the house, so I get the prettiest sunrises. I often wake up to liquid gold flowing through the pane, or maybe just-barely-pink mountains, or gray mist rising from the hill. Nutshell: I love my view.
Heaven in a Tin
Forgive the lame title, but when you possess the bestest thing in the world, it really doesn’t matter.
What am I talking about? Badger Balm. I found my long-sequestered tin, and it feels soooo good! (try it on your shins, if they get sad and dry during fall & winter) The tangerine scent smells yum, looks yum, and FEELS YUM! First ingredeint? Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Oh man. The only way to get better than than that is to follow it up with locally grown peppermint tea. Speaking of which, I think I’ll get a cup right now…
More Tomorrow…
Hi folks! Just letting you know that I’m still here. (they haven’t caught me yet) and I’ll write tomorrow about some different stuff.
Relational Issues
Joe and I have an interesting (and sometimes abusive) relationship, as described above.
You may have noticed that my little character has shorter hair. So do I. After much debate and flip-flopping, I finally had Mrs. Underhill cut it for me. I’ll post pics whenever I get motivated enough. It is about shoulder-length now, and I love how bouncy and alive it feels!
The Live Experience
Last week, we got Keith Green’s live performance album. Now we’ve been on a major Greenathon. The live recordings and animated preaching is like nothing I’ve ever seen or heard before. 26 years after his death, Keith’s music is still impacting a lot of people. Go to the LDM site for info on other recordings, and to read some excellent articles by Keith and Melody.
“I repent of ever having recorded one single song, and ever having performed one concert, if my music, and more importantly, my life has not provoked you into Godly jealousy or to sell out more completely to Jesus!” -Keith Green
